RESIN-BOUND POOL DECKS

A pool deck that doesn't hold water

A resin-bound stone pool deck is one seamless surface of natural stone that splash and rain soak through instead of pooling. We install them for homeowners and custom pool builders in Liberty Hill, Leander, Georgetown and Cedar Park.

Why it works around a pool

Water goes down, not across

The gaps between the stones let water through, so the deck is designed to drain instead of puddling at the coping or running toward the house.

No joints to fail

No pavers to settle, no grout to crack out, no weeds in the seams. One continuous surface edge to edge.

Your colors, your shapes

Pick from 140+ stone blends. Frame the pool in a contrast border, curve the edges, or set a monogram into the deck.

Built around the pool build

We schedule around your builder, keep everyone updated every week, and walk the finished deck with you before we call it done.

New build or upgrade

New pool

We install the deck as part of the build, at the depth and base your builder plans for. If your builder is already working with us, they handle it on their bid.

Existing deck

It can often go over the deck you already have if the base is sound. We check that at the site visit and tell you straight if it isn't.

Borders and coping

A second blend around the pool edge or the deck border is one of the most popular choices. It is laid in the same install.

Pool deck questions

When can we swim and walk on it?

Foot traffic after 24 to 48 hours, depending on the temperature. Until then, keep wet feet, drips and footprints off it; anything that marks it while it cures stays.

How thick is a pool deck?

Typically 12 to 15 mm for foot traffic, per the manufacturer's data sheet. Your quote lists the depth for each area.

What about pool chemicals and cleaning?

Rinse it and sweep it. Use a pH-neutral cleaner when it needs more, and rinse off chemical spills, since some chemicals can break down the resin. Full steps are on our care page.

Does it count as impervious cover?

It's designed to drain, but each city decides how it counts. We confirm with your city before you count on it.

What does it cost?

Published installed ranges for resin-bound stone run about $11 to $17 per square foot nationally (HomeGuide). Your price depends on square footage, base prep and blend, and it's written area by area on your quote.
