CARE AND WARRANTY

How to care for resin-bound stone

Sweep it, rinse it, and keep a few heavy or sharp things off it. The first two days matter most; after that, care is mostly a broom and a hose.

The first 48 to 72 hours

  • Walk on it after 24 to 48 hours.
  • Drive on it after 48 to 72 hours.
  • Cooler weather means the longer end of each range.
  • Keep pets, hoses, drips and leaking cars off it. Anything that marks it while it cures, footprints included, stays.

Everyday care

  • Sweep off leaves and grit.
  • Rinse with a garden hose.
  • When it needs more, use a pH-neutral cleaner.
  • Rinse off spills, especially chemicals, oil and pool treatments. Some chemicals can break down the resin.

Keep these off it

  • Turning the steering wheel of a parked car.
  • Dumpsters, roll-off bins and car jacks.
  • Steel furniture feet or tools left out, which can leave rust stains.
  • Rugs, covers or tarps left down for weeks, which can discolor it.
